Winter tires

Hey guys, i have 16" steelies and winter tires for sale. Bought a truck for winter so i am parking the balt. PM me if your interested and for specs and details. Sorry LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY as shipping i am sure will be a bitch.

As i stated in a previous post, i paid just under $1000 and am asking 800 o.b.o and they were used for maybe 5 months and i think we had 1 month of snow last winter. Preaty much brand new.

James

Exception for Calgary and Red Deer Guys, we might be able to arange a meet up if your interested in the tires.

what brand are the tires?
Im definately shopping but right now Kaltire can fit me in brand new rims and cheap winters for $750....
but ive driven on low profiles for about 5 winters now and i cant see spending that much on winters.

Im looking to spend about 550-600 honestly, i understand that might be to low for what you want. but if your interested throw me a PM

well... I got khumo's so it's a little more pricey... and I tried Kal tire.. that's what they said to me too until I showed up ... then they realised that my bolt pattern was 5 1/10 and that my tire size is a little less common too.... but good luck... haha.. I needed financing cause I'm between jobs at the moment so 960 for khumo's and 16 steelies... I didn't think that was too bad considering I got quoted from every where else at about 1000

That price is pretty good IMHO. I'd hop on it if I didn't buy 17" winters last year.

Tires are sold, and I agree with redsupercharged girl, once they find out about the rareity of the bolt partern, expect the price to magically rise.

so $100 per rim = 400

so that leaves you with 350 for tires, mounting, balancing, ect... believe me, i shopped around everywhere, Canadian tire, Kal Tire, Fountian Tire (where i purchased from), Tire Warehouse.

Like i said, its one thing to check on the i-net, head on into the store, thats where you will get your REAL numbers.

whats the scoop on 18s and winter rims-ties

have a 07 SS/SC and was told by the dealer that 16and 17 inch rims will not fit cause of the rotors and calipers. Is this a for sure or do I have to get cheap rims for the winter treads that are 18 in

wow... I JUST got my steelies and tires put on... hehe..I bought hub caps cause it looks retarded without anything... lol... i gotta be somewhat stylish lol RIGHT! Anyways.. I got the most expensive package at contemporary and with taxes and everything.. it came to 1400.... which is pretty expensive BUT... I was originally gonna get the 960 dollar package and finance it and I figured hey what the hell.... I'm financing... driving the highway everyday.. might as well go with teh TOYO's and be safe... but hey.. trust me.. these tires are sweet.. they grip like crazy

well.. I got 16's but your caliper size may be different in the 07's...... I'm not too sure.. you'd have to find out your clearance... go to a tire place and ask them to size you down.. they did it for me.... It takes them 5 minutes!

Alright, guy who wanted to buy couldn't come up with the cash so now i have to put them back up for sale.

Tire are Champiro WT 60 (made by GT radial) and are used as a winter rally tire. I have always used them (i used them on my old sunfire and cavalier) and they grip amazing on both ice and snow.
http://www.gt-tires.com/tire.asp?cat...at=Champiro+WT

I really just need them gone, they guy who said he was going to buy offered 700, like i said open to offers.

Jase...no Snickers wrapers

shitty deal. i would have definately offered....but i already have some on order now :/

The dealer who told you that 16/17 wont clear calipers is trying to sting you for 18 inch tires. dont listen.
the steelies are a little difficult to find as the lug pattern is oddball. but if you look around you can get them.
suggested winter setup is 16inch X6.5 with 5X110 lug pattern. wearing 205 60 16's
(i have heard 195 also works if you want something thinner)

$745 Drive away is the damage for my winter setup.

not trying to be a *****, but i plan on keeping mine parked for the winter after it comes back from hodgsons getting all my parts stuck in it.
On the chance that i may drive it in a limited fashion, i might be able to put winters to use.
$500, if you drop them to my shop in the west end, and you get paid on the spot.....

pm me if you want, or not, no biggie
