let them use knives, bats, hammers, ect, the death rate would drop how far? only the military needs to have guns, and the penalty for killing another man should be death every time, ppl would think twice and eventually society would accept it and it would sink in. Take police out of the equation completely and replace them with military who have REAL TRAINING and can handle ANYTHING more/less..........cops are POS and don't do anyone any good, just another useless level of "law" enforcement........

haha you're right some big dude comes climbing into my window one night with a gun saying he's going to blow my ******* head off, and I in return don't go to grab my weapon, I simply sit down with him and explain to him how it's not nice to enter someone's house without thier permission, and tell him I'm not mad just disappointed, and we hug and he's on his way... yeah right fem

I believe anyone who commits a serious crime like drug dealing, stealing, murder, molestation, etc should be killed outright. And none of this ***** footing bullshit either of giving lethal injection, or electric chair. I want them to load a 45 with ONE bullet and blow their ******* brains out.
^Cheap, quick, and efficient. Save the tax payers money, and increase the salaries of workers in prisons.
Dont give them a last meal, dont make them sit in jail leeching off society, just kill them ASAP. Theyve already forfeit themselves as good people, and they deserve nothing else in this life.

and as far as the police goes, they cant rush to your house before someone has an opportunity to shoot you.

How many NFL Football players have been shot and killed, and I will bet they were much bigger then you and a lot stronger.
As much as we all want to not have to use guns....that is not the reality of the situation that we live in. Our world is a place where anything can happen and people who kill do not care who you are, how big you are, etc...if they want you dead they will make sure it happens.
