2013 spotted thread: Maritime Edition
that was me, getting new tires for the spring/summer. 2006 2.4, they had the same rims as the SC. Having traction in 2nd and 3rd is nice for once LOL! Getting rid of the highrise/stripes within the month. Going for a base cobalt/sleeper look.
I saw you on the 6th near lower water street downtown halifax
you beat me to posting! i thought it was you, but i saw NA rims, and new you had a tc lol
to bad you had to see the car with its dents, and rice hood lol!
spotted 08redturbo @ speedy in bedford, texting on your phone!
Haha yah I was in the shop painting my rims just went out side for a break lol getting them painted black then putting them on soon .

im still contemplating selling it. so many nice muscle cars on kijiji that are probably on par wit hwhat i could sell my balt for and they won't depreciate like this will. but when im driving it, it's hard to imagine selling it :/
i've had it out twice. once last sunday and yesterday. it's tucked back into the heated garage

i agree with choice on challenger, out of all the big 3, mopar is the only company that did it right, mustang is a sold platform, and LOL @ transformers camaro, challenger is the best retro/modern ballance,
There is allways a better car... and the cobalt is a cheap platform to build. I myself keep looking at kijiji ads, but i think in the future if i am ever going to throw $$$ at a car again, it will be for a dedicated track car that i need to start once a month from april-sept. not a fun DD.
Cobalt is a fun DD, but if you want a mid-fullsize summer Daily, a challenger would be sick, but a heavy big v8 seems pricy for maintenice/gas....Then again, cars are personable for me, i could never sell my car. no matter how out of date/slow/obsolete it could be.
/drunk rate over
cheers
haha actually i'd be looking at an older charger. although i have been looking at a few dodge dart/duster 340's nice cars as well. saw a dedicated drag car, dodge dart that ran pretty quick in teh 1/4 and the guy only wanted around 5k for it. i could do alot with 8-10k money left over. haha
i love the balt but part of me wants a car that won't depreciate if i want to sell it later. also it will sound awesome, turn more heads and be a better weekend cruiser.

Just speaking from my ass here I have no idea whats going on at all yet haha.
sounds good to me! i've been itching for better weather so i can play with my DSLR setup and get some good pictures of peoples cars. maybe i'll invite my buddy with the 302 boss as well.
