Hand clutch.???

Was looking into buying a supercharged cobalt ss. I already own a n/a one buts it automatic. Either way that's not my point, I was looking into buying th sc'd one but I have a porstehtic right limb, and was wondering if anyone has ever seen/or heard of a hand clutch in these cars

I'm sure it's possible, sorry to ask buy arm or leg? I would think arm could be more of an issue.

Nah Mann no big deal hah.. And it's right leg.

I have a friend with a prosthetic right arm and he's driven standards his whole life.. He shifts a little slower than normal but it doesn't seem to really be much of an issue. He steers with his prosthetic arm and shifts with his left hand lol

Though I've never actually seen him drive in any heavy traffic, that could get tricky one would think. Lol

I havent heard of one but not saying it cant be done.

Other options....You could supercharge your current car for less than buying a new one.

You could always swap and automatic into your new SC if you bought it im sure.

I think these 2 options would be more beneficial for you and much more probable

I suppose so... Trouble would be finding a auto trans that could stand up to it.." But maybe I'll just say the heck with and do mine I have now

Given its a hydraulic clutch I wouldn't see why not. It would take some custom fab work, not sure how much you want to drop into the project

It all reality to thoe, I just might do the basics and leave it NA. Cuz I really got my eyes in buying a chevy ss next summer.

would any kind of insurance cover the cost ? my grandmother was born with polio and she cant use her legs but she has hand controls in her car. The insurance covered the cost to install it into every car she has owned.

Do you get to use the suicide knob too ? my grandma has one lol its pretty fun to screw around with.

You can get it done but its gonna cost you an arm and a leg... ;)

Oh I know. Just saying, since all that's available now is the auto, but manual is coming.
