haha naw. it's got enough power for me and will get me into enough trouble already. not interested in changing my clutch. just doing new pads and rotors in the front, new door speakers, oil change.

i like having it OEM

i also like having lots of money in my account haha down payment on my dream car when i find it.

besides with the two kids right now, it's nice to have money set aside in case of emergencies. that way i don't have to be the guy who has to sell his car when something family wise happens.

although there's a buick grand national on kijiji for 12k. appraised at 22k.. very tempting.

Going aftermarket tune doesn't necessarily mean that you need to replace your clutch! I have an aftermarket tune and my stock clutch has given me no trouble thus far.

I agree with... "tune it, tune it, tune it!"

no but there is a better chance of the clutch failing prematurely. the stock clutch isn't designed to last with power levels beyond GMS1 and i want my car to last and not cost me more money outside of regular maintenance. i would like to provide for my family without having to sacrifice my sports car to do so because i have to keep putting money into it for repairs and upgrades. i know how the modding bug works. did it before with an old 1G DSM with a 20g turbo. not going there again it was expensive. haha

tunes can really help, james does it @ ravens. But 250-300 WHP in a 3000lb car is fun

i mean how often do you want go past 200 km lol? i recently lowered my boost to 7 psi and lost about 30 WHP, car still goes through 4th gear like butter to 220km (end of the 2.4s speedo)

and that modding bug is addictive lol. I Keep telling myself (and the girlfriend) no more....but we both know its a lie

haha not very often which is why i don't need a custom tune. and even with GMS1 i've hit 230 no problem and it still had plenty more in it. i've heard mixed reviews about raven.

might be putting some of the money towards getting my driveway paved.
