HRM Peeps - who do you trust with your car?
Needs everyones opinion on something. Me and the GF moved to Halifax a few months ago... wondering who you guys and gals bring your car when you need some work done? Back in Fredericton I was friends with a few mechanics and knew that they always would treat my car with respect and would never beat on it.
I brought my car to get my tires balanced at Oregans on Robie st. back in October - I will never again bring my car back there.
That being said... who do you guys trust with your cars? I have to get tires installed/balanced in the very near future and really want someone who knows what they're doing and will treat my car with respect.

Stu is usually willing to help anybody out. He's helped me more then once and is somebody I trust with my car. I'm sure he'd be willing to help ya out, because he does alot for everyone of us locals.
I had similar problems with O'Regans as well. But lately it's been alright, because I only deal with one guy, and if its not him doing the work I won't leave it. I've talked with him and have deal with him a few times and he's the only one I trust there. Also the Service Manager is who my first call is to, I won't deal with the service advisors either, they gave me enough trouble as well. Andre is the guy who installed my stage kit on my car there, as well as replaced the intercooler and did a bit more work when it was in there for a week after being flatbedded in last September.

i know someone are going to be like "wtf..." but if you need work done and not worried about warrenty and having a dealership do it. James at Raven Autosports can do it. Never once has he taken my car out for a joy ride or anything (why would he, he has a 500hp cavi..lol). From my expeirence, james does good work and for a good price (just dont ask him to tune your car)
Well 3 mechanics told me at pye chev my car was safe to drive and the cat was plugged up when in reality I lost two lug nuts and the other were backing off which was creating the noise coming from the wheels.
You mean Double Z.... Brad I take it. Same here... he knows his balts. He had an 07-ss/sc with stage 3. So he knows these cars in and out. So I take my car there only.
