LOCAL ONLY, show off your ink!

well i no longer really spend much money on the car, needs a few things and i just gave up on it for now, just gonna do some minor things so i can drive it int he summer. im now into a new stage of life, witch are tattoos, its sad i went from hating them to loving them. was always afraid to get ink done, 1st time in i had my self super worked up and when i clued in it wasnt as bad as i thought it was i almost passed out cause i came off my rush way to fast, second time in i will never recommend anyone getting a tattoo on their wrist it hurt and it sucked! lol.
now the 3rd time im starting a full sleeve baised off old japanese ways from a few studdies i use to do in highschool now im excited!
heres my 1st two:

my moms and my dads last names on my inner arms, both are the same font, due to my moms last name being longer we had to srink it down alot and we were not able to do the double outline.
on to my sleeve:

my sleeve starts with a japanese samurai with a dragon around him, behind the samuari there will be a mountain from Japan, in the mountain will be a set of stairs leading to a dragons temple, then above it ill be clouds and the night, below the dragon their will be a river with cherry tree blossoms floating in it, on the inner arm there will be a cherry blossom tree blowing in the wind blowing cheery blossoms in the wind.
the meaning to it:
the meaning of the cheery blossom tree is to symbolize life
the samuari is to simbol strength
the stair case in the mountain symbols the stair case of life
the temple symbols the final resting place.

the hole thing is to show a life time story line but using things from japan history.
reason why im going with japanese history is because in high school from grade 10-12 i had a friend that was an extange student from japan, he taught me 2 styles of japanese writing, and got me into the martial art called Kendo (the way of the sowrd) witch is what the samuari studied when they were around.

i know thins is a car fourm and guys will prob ripp but i thought it would be nice to post some pics of what i been up to.

All my work is being done by John Newcombe of Newcombes Ink in halifax at 5187 Sackville Street, hes cheap and is by far one of the best in halifax! very gental as i been told.

P.S. my sleeve is only 3hrs worth of outline.

I got one 2 years ago on the back of my leg, and got another this past November. Ones on the back of my leg, and ones on the inner left biceps. Neither was painful. I'll get pics up asap. One was done at Permanent Ink in Halifax, and the other was at ADEPT on Quinpool Road.

Didn't really hurt for me, none did except for on my stomach. Though if you think the wrist is bad wait till you do the inner/upper part of your arm, elbow, and near your pit.

me neither. Wrist is pretty bad though. The skull w/tribal outline on the back of my forearm has some on the inner wrist which wasn't too bad but it was tender. My old tattoo artist did his own stomache and he said that was bad but the worst was the side of his ribcage.
My back I fell asleep too lol. and legs are nothing.
John is good but is comparable to other artists in HRM and def the going rate as well. I need some work done soon but looking around to someone more versified in b/g and color.
Monty Ricken is doing my right arm sleeve next Tattoo convention here in Halifax. so that leaves my left arm for someone local to battle.

got started on a different route the other night. About 3hrs in so far on a full sleeve. Theme is medieval with the battle on the forearm working its way to the upper arm where the castle is under siege with a sweet dragon flying down breathing fire on everything. All work done by Chris Weagle at Outcast Ink.
