very true, but if you are to go on a track instead of just a straight line....300hp (Easy to get with an upgraded stage kit and the right tuning) is more then enough for a FWD.....in drag races however, I couldn't agree with you more.
Infact, I have taken some hp away from my bolt which in turn has helped me get much better laps. Just re-tuned my car and it sits at 265 at the front wheels. Turbo vs Supercharger.....the argument that will never end lol. |
hmm funny thing is my cars never been blown up....
my cars better then any stock tc my car is unique my car will be tuned by the best tuner in the maritimes, JD Racing i have a 6768 turbo only thing thats ever gone wrong with my car sense 2008 when it was turboed is i took 2nd gear out of one tranny, and broke 3 flywheel bolts cause i make to much power for them i guess. now i have forged flywheel bolts (common upgrade) so before you say something about my car vs a stock tc think again. Thanks Danny, you know a real car from something bought not built ;) oh by the way, only reason my car isnt on the road this year, is because i have better things to spend money on then to finish the car, it can always sit and wait, life cant. plus theres roughly 1000 man hours in shaving and tucking the engine bay to get ready for its new custom tig welded manifold. |

Hey don't listen to the haters- trust me... do your thing Pyke... people told me the same thing about my tacoma- and I ran mid 12's all day in it- whooped on multiple vehicles- bottomline is- you'll make it do what it needs to do!
Good luck with the build. only issues i really have is the fact the turbo manifold i bought i got one with out studs welded into it so the studs backed out causing the turbo to separate from the manifold and cause premature air in the exhaust making it backfire and shoot 3ft fire balls out the tail pipe lol thats not my fault, just a shitty manifold. but thanks again for the kind words. |
Good luck with all that you do Pykie, I am excited to see how your bolt turns out. Keep us updated!

Thanks, been doing a lot of talking with Chris Miller about what to do with it, he's been hooking me up a lot with info and good prices on gear. Some day it should be finished, building a house so money is stupid tight, and I'm so far out of the car scene now I couldn't care aless to when its finished or if I finish it. 2 yrs and R34's are legal lol
