Canada US boost gauge vs. CDN boost gauge

I've searched through 10 pages of posts and didn't find anything...

I'm pretty sure this will in fact be plug and play, but i want to make sure lol. I have an 06 SS/SC and I'm tired of seeing boost in Kpa, but want my interior gauges to look consistent - so aftermarket gauge isn't what I want. So this would mean I could put a US version boost gauge in the car and have the same look and boost shown in psi.

This would make me happy

Questions are:
  1. Does anyone have first hand experience doing this?
  2. Will it be plug and play?
  3. Will measurements be accurate?

Any help is appreciated.

Then I would have issues with needing a 3bar map no?

CDN to US SS/SC gauge is 100% plug and play.

20psi to 30psi requires a 3 bar sensor and something changed with the ecu.

I've got a US version for sale. If interested, PM me. And like the others have said, it's 100% plug and play. I actually went from a US version to a canadian version for about 2 months lol

Hmmm... 30psi stock boost gauge from a TC? I'm pretty sure (not 100%) you need a 3bar map sensor for it to read correctly.

No, not even close. Mechanicals require you to actually run tubing into the system to get the boost reading. Not hard, but def not "plug and play"
