Holy Crap! I am heading for California April 1st just for the fun of it and have never been. I am planning to head down via the oregon coast hwy and may go as far as San Diego. If any you folks from Cali can offer some dont miss experiences or Cobalt friendly stops while I am there please chime in. I am so freakin pumped for this adventure. I would love to be part of some meet down there

just don't miss out on some of the canyon runs down there and definitely take in some of the beachs. you won't regret it. also don't trust the GPS haha

way to copy my summer trip! lol. Me and my gf plan on going down i-5 to san fran/diego area then los angeles, vegas then back home. After the tax return comes in of course :p Oh and ive never been down south past seattle...Ive been to seattle once and bellingham twice. Thats my entire travel history besides driving here from alberta haha

**** dude, I'd love to take my car down there, but I'm looking at 2000+ miles. Let's see...go north through the mtns, or go south through the desert. Which do you guys think?

san francisco and san diego are on complete opposite ends of cali so they cant be grouped into the same area hahah both would be great places to visit though.

and to the OP all the guys down in socal are awesome and very welcoming. just don't let them tell you they'll meet you at the beach cuz they'll show up 3 hours later and leave you by yourself to soak up the rays.
