Thumbs up Powell Raceshop

Thumbs up have to go to the man upstairs. No not that man. The guy up north John.
Met him at the shop, along with Gloria. Great people. Purchased a XXX bar for the car. Wow what a world of difference over the progress rear I had on for the past 6 years. Swaybar is a very quality piece, no brainer installing. Everything lined up. Powdercoating was excellent. Every part I have boughten from John I have felt a difference immediately.

Harness bar - while I have no intentions of running harnesses at this time, I bought it for the fact of tightening up the B-pillars above the doorskin. It has done just that.

Spherical control arm bushings - I steer the car where I intend to go and it just does that. Its like driving a go cart.

XXX Rear swaybar - no more turning the car and feeling the rear end drag along behind a second later. I am getting new tires today (9/19/12) and am waiting to have those installed before I really push the car in the corners to see what this swaybar can really do.

Wrinkle black spark plug cover. - Clean, better than OEM look.

Tow Hooks - Purpose. Ive needed the car towed twice since ive owned it in six years. Those two times I could have really used these hooks. Havnt used them since Ive boughten them but they look nice in the mean time until the need is there for use.

Great products, Great Service. His parts are worth the $$$. Dont waste your time with imitators. Stick with the innovator. Buy Powell.

Nice man!

If I keep my car I'm def purchasing the spherical control arm bushings, & XXX Rear swaybar.

My passenger side front wheel area started clunking again (aggrevated as hell), so I need to take the wheel off tonight to see if the Moog's are tight or if I have bigger problems.

my passenger side has clunked for probably the last four years. matter of fact while im at it

passenger window motor has always been slower than drivers side
two screws that hold up the gauge pod trim has been loose forever
reverse lights havnt worked since second week of owning the car
door button lights dont light up anymore ( actually do they from factory? )

Sorry had to get that out haha. I feel better now.

actually if you keep the car those two mods would comliment things very nicely. and considering powell's history and the build your going after I think any/all of his mods would be approperiate

That makes me feel better knowing this.... I thought it was the endlinks, so I replaced them with Moogs. Clunk went away for a while. Now, just the other day while it was raining, the damn clunk came back. It happens when I go over dips. It's aggrevating, because the car never did this. I was worried it was a strut, but the suspension is tight, and looks to be fine.

Hahaha, I bet man. John does good work.

I wish he could see my car with the H62. Might bring some Time Attack memories back, haha.

Great products and hope John never leaves the cobalt scene

Since my car is blue and tow hook is red, mine looks like a tongue too
My buddy was riding in front of me once and said my car was sticking her tongue out the whole way going up and down lol

My passenger side window is usually only slower when I try to put both up at the same time....

I always thought it was a resistance problem between the power window motor.

Is this what everyone is talking about?

When I put the windows up or down separately, they are both equal.

I would like to get some insight from him on the GMR head.

Subed for the window. That rear sway bar is sick though. Does your rear get skittish in mid corner bumps?

$449.00 for the harness bar, and 275.00 for the xXx rear bar. + shipping. Works very well with YYZ springs ( 320.00) performance and ride wise, but these springs are not for extreme drops... all hardware supplied where necessary , stainless/grade 8 where appropriate. Thanks for considering genuine Powell hardcore race parts and to 07 metallic for a nice visit last month...
