Yet to be proven that these are junk. They're just cheaper than the rest.

You get what you pay for. Weve seen how the megan coils are. They do look like a nice drop but i dont think the op knows what a good set of coils ride like compared to these.

Stance and BC aren't great coils either. Infraredline just had one of his Pedders snap pulling into a driveway.

Very few off the shelf coils will actually improve handhanding over FE5 suspension.

Keyword.

Stiff/low does not mean better handing. It may feel more responsive but you need to be able to smoothly control body movement

Soft and bouncy isn't performance though

Honestly BCRacing at its softest setting is slightly stiffer than FE5 and that's what we need is slightly stiffer imo.

Never said soft and bouncy.

Majority of the coils available to us are entry level at best.

The bcs are the best bang for the buck. Any coilover under 2 grand is entry level. The best off the shelf stuff we can buy is the kw variant 2 or bc ram series. The best we have available to us or ohlins or anze and cost upwards of 5k

I emailed them to get specs on the dampers and spring rates, and asked if swift springs would be interchangeable. The info they sent back was, the spring rate is progressive, and the dampers are valved and basically set to the same spec as stock (didn't specify if same as FE1, FE3 or FE5) they also said that since the damper stiffness is not adjust able they do recommend swapping to a linear spring rate like those from swift springs because they will cause the damper to fail. I wasn't interested in getting them, but wanted more info about them.

lets be honest, most people don't take their cars to a track anyways. these are probably going to be crappy but people want cheap and low so there is a market for them. as for the rest of us that want a little drop and better handling there is koni yellows and yyz

Yep. The yyzs are good. You cant go lower without sacrificing the handling if them.

Just like you technically cant go super low with out sacrificing the geometry of the suspension
