good to know! the one thing minus the astronomical prices they have is a) they got good deals here and there, wouldn't have bought unless i got a good deal
and b) they bump ALL their threads at the same time and jam up the new post system lol
and almost the ONLY sts

Oh boy,
Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I feel it's still my right to post this.
This was in 2011.
October 21st - Ordered a short throw shifter, as well as some supporting accessories.
November 5th - I email TWM to see what's up with my order, since I hadn't heard anything.
November 8th - TWM tells me they out they are not in stock, and they are making more. The website said nothing about them being out of stock, or else I would have never ordered one in the first place.
November 15th - I tell TWM to cancel my order.
November 22nd - I again tell TWM to cancel my order, after getting no response.
November 23rd - TWM tells me it is cancelled, and that I will get my refund on the 30th.
December 4th - I email TWM since I did not receive a refund.
December 6th - TWM says the shifters will be shipping soon, if I would like to change my mind.
December 7th - I yet again tell TWM I still would like to cancel my order and get my money back.
December 16th - I get a tracking number for my order. I then emailed TWM, as well as sending a PM on here.
December 19th - Created a thread on here calling them out, since I could not get a response from them. They called me, from Canada, very quickly then. I'm still so tired of dealing with them that as soon as the shifter showed up, I sent it back (the time frame was off for me to just refuse the package). I then get my money back.

I need to write a review but long story short...throws are very solid and feel firm....easy install and looks great...my only issue was lining up the shift pattern was a bitch and my knob is ice cold when its cold outside or burning hot when its hot outside....would do it the same way if i had to a again tho. It was a Very nice upgrade

It was def expensive but worth the money the only issue i have is no matter how many times i align the shifter cables so it can go into reverse or 5th easy it comes undone and when im on the highway and screwing around and need to put it in 5th fast i have to find the gear in a way idk maybe im doing something wrong but there really isnt a wrong way.

I hated the Hot Knob in Summer/ Cold Knob in Winter.....
Plastic Hurst 5 Speed Knob...
Get it here:
Hurst Shifters 1630114 - Hurst Classic Shifter Knobs - Overview - SummitRacing.com
you will need a thread adapter to fit the TWM Shifter. i know the 2.2/2.4 Shifter is 12x1.25. IIRC the SS/SC-TC is 10x1.5, but dont quote me, Ask TWM

Mine was missing a part when I got it. The cable has popped off the bottom twice. Yes, I'm sure the snap ring is seated properly using a good pair of snap ring pliers. The reverse lockout is not designed well. You have to adjust the shifter really far to the right to make the lockout even work at all.
Is it better than the stock one? I don't think so. A stock one with aluminum base bushings can be just as good a shifter as the TWM.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, and finally installed it on Saturday. DUDE. Love it. I always had a hard time getting into reverse, which likely was just a cable adjustment but putting in the TWM helped me with that.
Throw distance is reduced, and it just feels more solid, more "positive" if you will. I also got the base bushings, and I have the upgraded (LNF) shifter cable mount on the transmission. 2nd to 3rd is quick and awesome now. I was having a hard time with spending that kind of money on a shifter, but, it really is a beautiful piece... and it is all that TWM does.
edit: I should also add, install was pretty easy. I spent about an hour working at a leisurely pace. I did have to adjust the side to side cable a couple times to get it just right. But now, it's easy to get into first, and reverse is easier. Still have to lift the lock and go right a little hard but I've always had to do that and even before the TWM reverse was a bitch. It's a lot better for me now.
