2005 Chevy Cobalt SS SC

4 Attachment(s)
I have a 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS SC for sale in Eastlake, Ohio. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I bought the car 6 years ago with 5,600 miles on it. The car currently has 10,795 miles on in. Yes, you read that right barely above 10,000 miles on the vehicle. I have only driven it for pleasure every now and then.

The battery was replaced about 6 months ago with a Duralast Gold Series battery. The oil was changed every 3,000 miles since I have owned it, or yearly with Mobil 1 Synthetic. Otherwise has been a great vehicle for me.

There is a GM Stage 2 kit installed, and was installed by the dealership I purchased the vehicle from. Also it has a Magnaflow Cat Back exhaust, Ingalls Stiffy Adjustable Engine Mount. Everything else is factory. The Original Pioneer sound system remains intact and has never been changed out.

I am the second owner, the car has a clean Carfax, no accidents ever. Nothing has been repainted, all original. Never driven in the winters, at least when I have owned it. Unsure of previous owner, but judging by the condition. My guess would be only summer driven since day one.

Car runs and drives like NEW, it smells new actually. Great vehicle, just looking to change it up maybe get back into motorcycles or something else. Suspension is tight.

The paint is in great shape. There are 2 known minor rock chips on the front bumper, and one on the hood of the car. Less than 1/8 of an inch in diameter.

Will need a new tire in the rear as it loses air over time. Rims some of the paint is wearing off and small bubbles are forming. But for an 05 they still look great.

Looking for $11,000 or best offer for the vehicle. Not really interested in any kind of a trade. PM me for more details or questions. More pictures can be sent via email on request. Thanks for Looking.

Very nice....

Nice car. It's nice to know there's some people preserving these things.

But I don't think there's a market for your car at that price. No one is looking at these for potential collector cars yet.

Maybe a collector car auction would help. Someone did just pay over 20k for a base auto Solstice recently at a Mecum auction I think.

They're at the "cheap quick car for a highschool student" phase right now.

That car is in mint condition!

Like Cluelessk said though i think the price is a bit high. Good luck with sale though

I'd put it back to 100% OE and keep it.
Start showing it to exotic car collectors to see what you can get. I have seen much lamer cars in their show rooms. I don't think your far off on price.

Honestly the price isn't bad but its a bad time to try and get that for it. If it stays that mint it will go good in the future.

Thanks for the replies. I have owned the car now for 6-7 years. I am ready to part ways, just doesn't get the use it deserves from me. I have a daily driver that I take to and from work, and I would not daily drive this one (too nice!). ;)

I am trying to keep it that mint! When I drive it, I typically take it out for pleasure cruises. If it goes anywhere I try and park as far away from anything I can.

The "cheap quick car for a highschool student" at least the one I know of went for $6,800 for a 2007 with 78,000 miles. Interior very flawed, and cleary raced by another teenager/high school student. That's how I came up with the price. Mine was always adult driven, previous owner was a woman in her 40's who owned this one as well as a turbo one. Mine never saw an autocross track nor a drag strip ever on my watch, previous owner I'm not sure, but I highly doubt it.

As I stated, if interested make an offer.

Accidentally Marked Sold

Haven't logged into the website for a while. Come to find out my thread was marked as sold, unsure how that happened.:r: The car is still for sale. I am motivated to sell it. I am lowering my asking price to $10,000 for the vehicle. I apologize for the thread being accidentally being marked as sold. Thanks for looking.
