I'm glad for the folks who have jumped in with positive well-wishes.

Unfortunately, one commenter, out of the blue, insinuated that my car could be prone to a cracked/porous block and further suggested his worry that potential buyers might be getting "scammed."

Putting aside clear issues of breaking forum rules and trying to subvert a sale, I'll put this out there just so everyone knows...

1. To my knowledge, my car has no cracked block, nor a porous block. This is quite literally the first I have heard of this type of issue. There has never been an issue with coolant loss in my car and I can't even say I've added much coolant over the 6 years I have owned the car. I've maybe added a splash to the reservoir twice in that amount of time. I can also say I've done every oil change since I have owned the car and there has been NO evidence of coolant in the oil. As an aside, (I also had the coolant flushed at a GM dealer in fall 2014, exactly when recommended by the service schedule.) Further comments insinuating my car has this, or any other condition, will be reported to the moderator. (Folks are still free to ASK me if my car has condition X or if I have done service Y, obviously.)

2. My asking price, like all asking prices, has room for negotiation. I never said "firm." But, you will not find a completely stock, never modified, SS/TC sedan in this condition. Do a nationwide search and show me one!!! Further comments about the car being "overpriced" will be reported to the moderator.

3. I know what I am talking about. If you want to know what I know about cracked blocks and any other engine problems that my car does not have, read my book.

The porus block.....

Lets go through this for anyone that doesnt know. This is an issue where the cooling walls give way and cause coolant to flood the oil pan for the most part.

Theres a lot of myth that this only happens on 09s. I have diagnosed a more than a handful of 08s and 1 2010 all having this issue. Also theres a lot of people who think they have the porus block because they blow their cylinder apart. THIS IS NOT A PORUS BLOCK.

I have now had 2 09s without this issue. Both have had the crap beaten out of them on and off the track and i have no coolant loss.

GLWS OP your car is properly maintained and im sure will go to a good home.

OK, looks like you have email disabled and PMs don't exist on this board. So, send me an email please! (Or give me some other way to contact you.)

A car like this is worth what someones willing to pay for it. The sedans are not a dime a dozen. In the production amounts of today's cars, this car is of extreme rarity. I had to set on mine for a few months but I ended up getting $12k for it this summer(63k miles). I was able to sit on mine as long as it took because it was paid off. I think the price is good, don't get discourage from the comments or if you have to sit on it for awhile. GLWS!
