2006 Cobalt SS G85 ~ Asking $5400
Purchased it in 2008 with 43k miles. Currently has 198,XXX miles. The title is clear and in-hand. Don't let the high miles fool you. I commuted 52 miles each way to work for 7 years but it's 95% highway miles. I've averaged 57mph since I bought it. I always changed the oil and filter around 4500 miles and used 5W30 synthetic. When it rolled over 150k I started using high mileage synthetic. I just checked the cylinder compression and it was between 190-195 psi on all 4 cylinders. I never raced the car on or off road, just adult driven as a daily driver. Also a non smoking vehicle all its life. *** see pics below **** CAR DETAILS: - 2.0L LSJ supercharged engine - 5 Speed Manual Transmission - G85 package w/ LSD - AC & Heat work perfect - All dash and interior lights work - 2010 Cobalt SS Turbo seats - Stern Wheels 18x8.5" (could use some work) - Falken 235/45-18 tires w/ 75% tread left - NGK Iridium Plugs installed 125k miles - Supercharger oil and eaton coupler changed at 125k miles - Airbox mod w/ cone filter - Suspension, control arms, links, bushings and strut mounts replaced at 125k mi - Red powdercoated calipers, pads and rotors 15k miles ago (all in great shape still) - RF wheel bearing replaced at 109k miles, LF bearing/hub replaced this month - Upgraded solid shifter bushings installed in 2013 - JVC 6.5" stereo plays DVDs, MP3, USB flash drives etc - Rockford Fosgate front component speakers (6.75" in doors and 1.25" tweeters) - Kenwood 6x9 speakers in rear deck - 10" Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer in OEM enclosure - Sound system powered by RF Prime Amps in trunk - sounds great! - Optima yellow top battery 1.5 years old The bad: - Paint had a couple scrapes in the front bumper when I bought it. Also a few paint bubbles on the front edge of hood. The paint around one of the tail lights pulled away so I used red vinyl to adhere it back down over the winter. - Sunroof rail has a problem so if you open it you can't close it w/out help (I pulled the fuse and never use it) - Front windshield is cracked around the bottom, doesn't effect the view - The wheels are only 2 years old but Stern didn't clear coat the polish lip so they corroded. I repolished w/ 1000 grit and clearcoated them but it chipped off. If I were to keep the car I'd just repolish the lips and wax them and not CC them. From 10 ft the wheels look good, see the pictures. EXTRAS: * The car comes with 16" wheels with snow tires. The tread is pretty low but they did OK in snow. * NIB stainless header w/ catco welded in with an extra bung for a wideband O2. * Used 2.8" pulley * Used 60# injectors * HPTuners with 2 credits purchased for this car, just never had time to use it PRICE/CONDITIONS: I'm asking $5400 for the balt AS IS without the parts. I will take $5000 without the stereo and I'll put the Pioneer system back in. If you want all the extra parts I will take $6100.
