For Sale - 25k mile Stock LNF Sedan! (2009 Cobalt SS)
Hi All,
I just ordered a Camaro ZL1 so it's time for the Cobalt to go! I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle and the youngest to date (I am 40!). The car has always been garaged and babied. It has 25k (yes, you are reading that correctly, 25 thousand miles) miles on it and has always been stock. The only things different on the car from when it came from the factory are the short antenna (the original owner covered the car despite it being in the garage every night), the removal of the rear gold bowtie (I have it if the buyer wants it) and a center console that the prior owner added (it can be removed in 2 minutes and is bolted in to factory spots...no holes cut at all and I have the original pieces).
Some details:
Silver Exterior (2 tone interior)
5 speed manual (obviously)
G85 (LSD)
No sunroof
Spare
Bose Sound/Sub
The vehicle has always been dealer serviced (and just had a Mobil 1 oil change). The tires are new Continentals (less than 1000 miles on them). The car does not have a scratch on it...the wheels are curb rash free. The interior looks and smells brand new. I have the clean title (in hand) and the car has a clean carfax (no accidents ever).
The car will (if the buyer wants it) also come with a transferrable bumper to bumper ($250 deductible) warranty that is good for another 4.5 years and almost 60k miles.
I am asking $14,999 and that includes the warranty.
A few pictures:
Let me know if you have any questions. The car is located in Southern California...

Looks like nice clean car, but I can't say I blame you for going for the ZL1. If you can afford it, more power to you!
I have a few questions:
About the warranty you have, what company is it from? Is it honored nation-wide? Does it cover OEM parts? What all is covered?
Could you post some pics of the interior and the engine, if you get a chance? So the center-console is aftermarket but you have the full original one, is that correct?
Are there any paint flaws, chips, bubbles or anything like that? Was the rear bowtie just glued on? Did it leave any flaws in the paint when it was removed?
Sorry for so many questions. If I go for this car, I'll have to fly to you and drive it back, so I don't want any surprises. I bought a 2008 SS new and I've missed it ever since I sold it.
Cheers,
Jarod

Looks like nice clean car, but I can't say I blame you for going for the ZL1. If you can afford it, more power to you!
I have a few questions:
About the warranty you have, what company is it from? Member's Choice. Is it honored nation-wide? Yes! Does it cover OEM parts? Yes! What all is covered? Most things. It doesn't cover certain electronics (The stereo, window motors, a few sensors, etc.).
Could you post some pics of the interior and the engine, if you get a chance? Yes, I will send them to you tomorrow. Can you give me your email address and I'll send them over sometime tomorrow?
So the center-console is aftermarket but you have the full original one, is that correct? Correct.
Are there any paint flaws, chips, bubbles or anything like that? No! There is zero curb rash on the wheels as well. Was the rear bowtie just glued on? Yes. Did it leave any flaws in the paint when it was removed? There is a tiny 1mmx1mm little nick beneath it. I can send you pics of that as well if you like. A decent color sand would take care of it or if you wanted to put the bowtie back on (I have it) it would cover it up.
Sorry for so many questions. If I go for this car, I'll have to fly to you and drive it back, so I don't want any surprises. I bought a 2008 SS new and I've missed it ever since I sold it. No worries, depending on the deal we put together I may be willing to take care of your plane ticket.
Cheers,
Jarod

If you know someone in this area (or someone from the board) that you'd like to come and check out the car for you, I am happy to oblige a showing!

What's the dealer offering you for it?
Im going to a lot of work to make mine exactly like that except it's a 2.4L SC
There are some beautiful SS's coming up for sale lately and this is one of the nicest.

I've had a few offers from $9500-$10000 from a few local dealers but I don't want to go that route. I really want the car to go to an enthusiast and if I can't get a decent offer, then I'll just keep the car.
