Trade interest. 2008 VW R32
I've gone through a decent amount of cars and keep coming back to wanting to own an ss, preferably a LNF but I figured this would be the place to post and see if theres any trade interest. I'm just gunna cut and paste my cl post since retyping it sucks. Lol
2008 VW R32
clean title
164k miles but will go up, daily driven.
Only modification is a resonator delete.
15% window tint.
Timing chain was done ar 130k miles by Peoria VW in Arizona.
I am the 3rd owner, the last owner had the car in AZ before trading it into the dealer I got it from. There are EXTENSIVE service records dating back the entire time the car has been in AZ wjich will show the timing changing replacement etc.
For those of you that dont know the MKV R32 was a limited production car that was only released in 2008. Came with a VR6 motor and haldex AWD, 5000 came to the usa and of those only 1110 were candy white. Car is number 445/5000. (Marked on the steering column).
Car is a dsg dual clutch transmission which will shift faster then anybody can hope to shift a manual transmission, it's just the truth. Also can be manually controlled via paddle shifters 9n the steering wheel.
Heated leather seats in pretty much immaculate shape as well as power windows with auto up/down, rain sensing wipers and xenon projector headlights.
Also has a power sunroof.
1 month ago I completely claybarred, cut the clear and then polished the car and then applied dinowax ceramic coating. Essentially it's a 9h coating that bonds to the clear coat that protects against scratches, is hydrophobic so water beads up and rolls off and is UV protectant etc so the sun damaging the clear coat wont happen. The car is garaged but just in case.
Full disclosure, the car has an airbag light in that was on when I bought the car, I replaced the clockspring because that's what the issue is and you need vagcom tck reset the airbag light, I just havent bought vagcom. Also has a tpms sensor out so the car has a low air light but I just manually check them.

thanks man, it's been a great product, I'm curious if eventually they'll raise the cost of their ceramic since its considerably cheaper then almost any other brand ceramic and I'm wondering if it's because they only recently released it that their starting low and it will go up.

idk, all of their stuff seems pretty cheap and works great lol. my buddy who is a detailer who lives in northern cali, has just started using some of their stuff and he loves it! he said the owner is super cool. i hope it stays the same price because they would get a lot of business lol

no. No rpd. No brembos. I had them and sold them. The lsj brakes with a good set of pads was more than enough for me. So I left the setup the same. I have first hand experience with all brake setups. The lsj brakes do the work just fine. Especially with my old 500hp Cobalt lol.

haha really? I just love all the stuff the rpd can do, I had an accessport on my evo and for something that's factory it does a whole lot vs how much something like an accessport costs

that was the main thing I was curious about. I wasnt sure how accurate it would become once you either start heavily tuning the stock turbo or bigger turbos. I didnt know if it read off the map sensor or what its basis was off of if you added a manual boost controller or anything like that

dunno. I’m more of a mechanical gauge type of guy. I was originally going to put my oil pressure gauge, wideband, and mech boost gauge. Remove the Pilar pod and slap a base model pod on. But that’s for later. Unless you wanna trade for the VW. I wouldn’t mind going back to em.
