hotpursuit 08-09-2010 03:48 PM

im sure i have pics of the wheels, just im at work now. they wouldnt let us deep stage i had to back up lol. and yeah i broke out almost every time (kept winnin though) so i had to keep running and lowering my dial in time haha.

and thanks man!

EXsoccer1921 08-09-2010 03:52 PM

lol pm me if you wanna learn how to bracket race.

SS4ME 08-09-2010 03:55 PM

Damn, it looks cold up dare already!:( And windy. Was that time done against the wind? Nice job braking out!;)

hotpursuit 08-09-2010 04:11 PM

thanks for the offer but i know how to race. i sand bagged allot of the day. but these guys didnt know how to race and kept matting it, (with out knowing if they are breaking out or not just kept trying to cross the line at the same time. i got knocked out cause i fucked up my launch :( my favourite slip of the day was a 15.08 at 89mph LOL my dial in was 14.9! no sandbagging there at all..

also yeah it was cold its 3.5hrs north of sudbury were i am, it was 9 celcius up there in the town 15 mins away it was 20 LOL. and it was a tail wind thank god! other wise those 2.2 60fts would REAALLY hurt my ET

EXsoccer1921 08-09-2010 04:16 PM

just figured you might some tips since you said you kept breaking out and lowering your dial. and i did finish 3rd in points in a class of 15..

hotpursuit 08-09-2010 04:22 PM

thanks though, i was kinda trying to get a personal best since i only got 3 time trial runs in before eliminations. i made it to 8 out of over 100 :) lol. was happy with the out come

EXsoccer1921 08-09-2010 04:34 PM

lol 8 out of 100 is like, 4..5 rounds? so thats 4 people, 5 at most. not all 100 haha. how were you breaking out though with 3 time trial runs?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oG5whziTXg

thats how you keep from breaking out. 13.9 car on a 14.10 dial. over take him then ease off the gas slightly. not completely, and don't brake.

hotpursuit 08-09-2010 04:43 PM

i know how to bracket race. problem is when the other guy keeps pullin on you and wont let off its hard to start sand bagging. besides if they are goin full tilt they are gonna break out too if they have a slower dial in than you your golden(as long as your not waaay ahead)

3 time trial runs with first time racing the car with the DR's and full tune. didnt know how it would run all my 3 time trials were 15.0xx

also i like to try and tree the shit outta the other guys
