Attention avid drag racers with SS/SC's

What are you guys running for setup as for slicks, mounts, etc? More specifically, what are you doing to prevent transmission failure. Thank you ahead of time.

i'm not using slicks or drag radials. but i have made street tires and a 49k mile stock clutch work very well. running ottp stage2 mounts, and a ttr upper mount that i machined to work with the others. theres no wheel hop what so ever. i've also practiced enough to where i can match my hand on the shifter with my feet on the clutch and gas. so as soon as the peddal is in far enough to disengage the clutch, the gear its instantly in the next gear and i'm off again, with a smidge off the gas when i shift. almost like a no lift shift.

i also launch at about 2600

I am running Traction bars and poly trany mounts for wheelhop. I'm gona get a upper mount for next season because I still get some hop pulling out of the waterbox.

As far as tires i have BFG T/A DR's 255/50/16.

I also have DSS stg 2's

As far as tranny damage prevention... I don't try to keep it in one piece. I drive like I'm rying to break it. 5k 2 step launches and she holds. I think the clutch will fail before the tranny does.

TTR upper mount, Poly F&R tranny mounts, DSS stg 2 axles... Blown Tranny!

I get a lil wheel hop, I think mine stemmed from the instance when I snapped the axle and then wore down and blew over a short period of time.

Snapped the axle doing a 4500 RPM preload launch and the E-brake caught on the last notch, part of the axle spun and part didnt, twisted it right off.
