06 G6 GTP 6-speed manual
07 accord V6
07 murano AWD

08 accord I4 (Has cold air intake and tune)

1. Stop talking about it.
2. Just go out and do it.
3. Report back here with the results.
4. Video would be a plus.

How close was your race with the Mustang? I was thinking you should have won that one but looking at the specs 225 hp with 3,000lbs if it is running like new it should be a pretty even match for stock SC Cobalt. On paper anyway
If you have ever owned one especially a 5 Spd you would understand. 225/305 tq stock. They easily make big power and respond very well to mods. I had a 93 GT that was built front to back. Still had A/C and every creature comfort. With a 150 shot added to that I was running 6.40s in the 1/8th. I still had over drive. I would have also picked the mustang out of that group. I have built tons of them. Back when Pinks all out was doing there show, I ran it. I barely missed the times they wanted. My car you can see it twice for just a brief second running.

The ratio was insane. Especially as you added more to it. It was like a LS motor. They responded very well to mods, but they didn't have to have all of the tuning. Yes they were speed density and then mass air in 89, but you could buy this little adaptor plate on the front of the idle air control sensor and adjust it just like you do a carb motor. It was really cool to mess with. I had a pretty radical cam 512 lift 288 duration with 1.7 roller rockers on some nicely ported heads. I ran the tremec tko and then I had 4.10 gears in the rear end. That was a crazy combo.
