drag radial size?

I don't want to convert to slicks to go to the drags, i know the benifits of them. That being said, what size drag radials fit under a 09 cobaltss with sportlines, without rubbing? Nitto 555R's look good, and i believe they sell a 245/45/17. BFG sells 225/45/17 which is closer width wise to stock, but i would like to get as wide as i can. Dedicated grooved tires are out, as i will be driving 60mi round trip to the strip. I know DR's are hard on the drivetrane, launching, compared to slicks. Any advice on DR size?

I use the nitto nt555r drag radial, 245-45-17, I like them they hook really good, I've had both the Bfg an nitto an the nittos hook better than the Bfg, I have them mounted on redline wheels
