Drag radials

So my last time at the track I was only able to pull a 14.7. I was on my 235/40/18 nitto invo's. The next time I go I am thinking about using the 15" steelies that came on the car. Does anyone know how wide they are? And what is a good size drag radial to use on them? I want to get at least low 14's. Thanks for the help in advance....

what is the widest i can go on the stock rims? i think they are 15 X 6. Would a 225/50/15 fit?

If your going to run drag radials make sure that you have some sort of upgraded shafts other wise you may break your stock ones.

forget about DR's buy a set of 24.5" M&H slicks you will be very happy

If your running a 15 inch rim buy slicks. Way lighter and more traction, and less chance of axle snap do to wheel hop. 24.5x8.5 are ideal, like stated above.

Would those be too wide for the stock steelies? I think they are 15 X 6.
Does anyone run these? http://discounttires.com/product_det...E=&prodID=3497
