In your picture the air line exists the side of the bag. I bought that kit. Same part number. Got it today. The air line exists top or bottom, not the side. I'll need take the springs out and drill through the bump stops, it looks like.

Yeah, when I first got it I was like WTF? I was making plans to drill and have the hose come out the bottom. Make sure your hose is coming out through the spring gap closest to the middle. Watch out for that tin exhaust shield stuff. It'll cut you if you just look at it wrong.

I'd be interested in seeing what you think of it. I love it. One of the best "bang for the buck" mods IMO. No more bottoming out and wheel rub in the back over big bumps with passengers in the car. The ride feels softer. Crank up the PSI and you have a bunch of rake and little to no dipping at the track. It's still holding up just fine. During normal driving I'm running around 6psi now. If I want to take off fast (like going to the track or racing random hybrids) I crank it up to 25psi.

Same here! I ordered it ONLY because I saw your pictures, haha. I opened the box and was like... uh oh, i have to drill the bump stops? Totally had it in my mind to grab an extra drill bit but then I looked past the first page of the instructions and saw where it says Chevy only and had one of those "Ah HAH!" moments.

I'll be putting them in Saturday morning, and provided it doesn't rain, running them on Sunday.

LOL. Neither of us read directions. I seriously had the bit out and was debating on taking out the rear springs or just drilling and cramming the bags in there and so forth. Then I was like, "Maybe I'll look at the instructions." I had that same moment. I also had a hard time cramming the bags between the springs. I took the little black caps off and just sqeezed them with my hand and started forcing them in. Then I looked at the instructions and saw that it said to take the caps off, fold it up and then put the cap back on. Then I figured that made sense and would have made things easier.

I'm going to put mine on a lift, unbolt the shocks and let it hang to open the springs as big as I can. With Pedders I can just imagine it'll be tight work forcing them in there.

I'm on Pedders. I did the whole thing without jacking anything up or anything. Just layed on the ground and scooched under the car. It's better to install it under load so you know what gap to use to run the hose through. When the springs aren't compressed, it's hard to tell which gap will be most centered.

I'm too old and fat to be out laying under the car in this apartment parking lot.

Point taken about which gap to use. I'll be sure to make not of it before we lift the car up. Thanks!

Comedy. Got there, got the car on the lift. One of the guys takes one look the directions, then at the bag with the inlet in the center, sticks his header under the spring perch, looks at the twisting beam arm and sway bar under it. Looks at me and kinda squints a bit. "How are we going to drill this out? Take the spring off?"

"Dude, read page two," I told him. "We all do the same thing you just did."

15 minutes later we're down the road. I'll know how well they work tomorrow.

Not sure what to think. Something broke so I didn't get but two passes and not really under full power.

With 30 pounds in them the ass end started swaying back and forth in third gear. That was challenging.

With 10 pounds in them it wasn't as bad but the back did move around some. Problem is the front end wasn't pulling right so who knows. With I had more time with them. I'll have to try it again in a couple of weeks once I get the car sorted again.

Weird. Hopefully you ran them together so that one can't have more psi than the other. Sorry for recommending them if they suck for you.

I'm no expert so I can't offer a lot of info. I'd say make sure they are both in the same spot on both sides and that no hose is being pinched. Theoretically they should be more even than footballs.

They're awesome on my car. Stopped rubbing. More comfortable ride. No more bottoming out in dips with a full car. Ass end goes way up and stays there at the track.

They are tee's together, which made me wonder if that wasn't actually part of the sway as air can freely go from one to the other.

I don't know though. I won't be able to get the car in the air until next weekend to see what's wrong under the front. then I have to fix it. It'll be a few weeks then, before I can get onto the track and really get a good feel for it. It never really had a fair chance this last weekend.

Ok, went to the track again and got to make a lot of passes. Nice to have a motor that's running right and making power.

My setup is pedders, factory struts and shocks on the back. Powell hardcore bar, for what it's worth.

I played a hunch, and put 50 pounds in the bags this time; had no sway, the car wasn't assy at all. Far better than I experienced when they had 30 pounds last time. The first two passes were throwaways, both under part throttle. Third pass was my first hard pass and it was my fastest pass ever, by a little bit. My next pass also one of my best. Later in the evening though, I made a few passes with no air in the bags and one of them was my third fastest pass, ever. My second was without the bags.

So, I guess I can't categorically say that they helped at all. Didn't hurt either, but I feel the traction isn't improved at all with them back there.

i would say you need more passes to really say they didn't hurt nor help. too much variation between passes. how did your launches look? exactly the same? did you launch harder on the bags, or softer. do you have all the slips from that night?

drag racing is one of those things where you can't make on or two passes, change something, and then make two more and compare. especially with how inconsistent these cars are

I have all of them Mark. I increased the launch RPMS of the next few passes and just spun the tires, was then running 9's. Went back down in rpm to 1800 and got back into the 8's again.

I guess I expected too much from them.

I'm not going to take them off, I'll keep them in and inflate them again next trip, so we'll see.

They're all over the place, Mark. I'm so terribly inconsistent and I'm still trying to find the right combination to launch this thing. It looks like lower rpms are better though. I'll shoot pics tomorrow for you, and post up my gopro vids on you tube too. For now though, it's bed time.

Installed these in stock springs with same part # above and have a decent gap still between bottom of bag and bump stops there inflated at 15psi... Any body know if I have the wrong part # for stock springs?
