Grand Am front brake swap??

Grand Am front brake swap??
Ok, I have a reason for requesting this information, but more on that in a second…
I seem to recall seeing on Speed Channel a couple years back a show in which the GM Performance Division showed how they did a brake swap on their Koni Challenge(?) cars…
I was wondering if anyone had access to this information.
I have a really nice set of stickies for my old Grand Am, that would probably really help my E/T’s should I want to see how fast I can go down the quarter ~ and rather than do a lower level Cobalt brake swap, and still have to find a set of wheels to mount some slicks on, I’d prefer to just swap the older bolt pattern brakes on the front of the car and use what I have (plus the older car parts are easier to come by)…
Can anyone help?

The reason why i asked is that hte Grand Am is GM's midsized 'N-Body', which shares alot mechanically with the compact 'J-body';
GM Performance division did this EXACT swap, and I recall seeing them show enthusiasts how to do it themselves somewhere around 2006...
I know the key component is the hub, but I cannot recall if the A-arm or anything else needs to be changed to make this work...
The Grand Prix is actually the larger platform, and had all different brakes, hub, and what not...
