Hit up the track
Had another points race yesterday that unfortunately got rained out. had it turned down to about 22 or 23 psi.
this was the first time trial pass. idk how they got T84 out of 776, they were having trouble with the two cars before us too, but i'm in the left lane. dont hate, i haven't made a pass in quite a while
then the second time trial i hit a new best ET and trap speed.
whats funny about the first slip. is that even though he took the win(just a time trial anyways). he only beat me cause he got me on the 60'. i start pulling back on him after the 330' mark. PULLING BACK, on an 11.50 car...
our 60'-330'= 3.907 for me, 3.074 for him. .833sec
330'-1/8= 2.784 for me, 2.625 for him. .159sec
1/8-1000'= 2.361 for me, 2.292 for him. .069 sec
1000'-1/4= 1.91 for me, 1.96 for him. .050 in my favor
also gained 31mph to his 21mph
so now come round 1 and i've got like a .700 second split between the time trials. so i gave myself .15 on the 12.67 and i ended up back against the ssr. he went red so i just made a free pass all out to see what the car did. ended up going 12.87 on a 12.82 dial. round two i didn't get a video of. and the slip ain't anything to write home about. the announcer even said "watch mark whitte and the turbo cobalt pull a top end like nobodies business" and sure enough i did haha, i left first off the line with my dial, then they caught and passed me on a 12.4 dial, then i started pulling back on them HARD, got on the brakes and ended up going 13.0@ only 100 and took the win there. then we got rained out....
my friends wife took a video for me with her phone of the 12.6 pass.
but it was pretty shitty quality so for round 1 i gave her my phone to record with. looks like a damn video camera.
so that was my day. burnouts got much much smokier later when i really pulled on the ebrake. john forced that ****. i can't wait to get rid of these bald ass tires and get a slick so i can turn it up all the way and really launch it, i hate babying it off the line.

i think i'm gonna hook the wot box back up and see if i can't get some boost goin at the line and then do some nls'ing. but yeah slicks are definitely needed, have you seen what these tires look like? . hows your build comin along?
