im curious, opinions please SS/TC vs 06 CTS V
ok so this girl in my town has a 2006 CTS V stock and she just keeps running her mouth
my question is has anyone raced one?
if i am correct a SS turbo with GMS1 should have no problems walking it

her car dont have launch control and she cnt drive for **** so i dk honestly i dc if she can win or not i love the CTS V especially the new ones

400hp ls2 engine. 0-60 in sub 5 seconds, 6 speed. Idk, but if she drives like **** go for it. I would assume that cadillac put tc, rev limiter, and many, many sensors and bullshit, cts-v probably couldn't do a burnout! its a close call though in my opinion, unless you drive VERY good.

her car weighs 1435 lbs more than a cobalt fyi, plus u got that big gas tank, and she weighs at least 250lbs maybe more
so i dk guys i think the balt may come out victorious lol
any other thoughts?

I ran one from a dig on the street.
The cts-v had an air intake, corsa catback, and a flash tune with his 100lb girlfriend. My cobalt has an hp tune, k+n, and I was riding solo.
With his car spinning pretty bad I was able to hang a half car back until 60mph and he started to pull away. By about 120 he had alittle over 1 car length on me and pulling.

Let me tell you my experience with a CTS-V. I was at the track and a guy was talking about his debadged CTS-V with a group of trashy guys in the staging lane next to me. He said his car was cammed, tuned, upgraded supercharger pulley, valves and valve springs, full exhaust, and an intake. The group of guys were blatantly drunk and saw me in my 4 door SS t/c right next to him and said "you'd destroy the **** out of that piece of **** cobalt hahaha, I think the driver **** himself hahaha".
Well I rolled the window up and stopped listening to them and retracted my, "nice car" statement I made earlier. I watched him line up and make his run. Good launch. Full throttling it, with little spin. No sand bagging done.
He ran somewhere around a 13.7 @ 105mph.... or something close to that trap speed.... I line up and run in my "stock" SS t/c... I ran a 14.2 @ 102mph.
Earlier another forum member with a 4 door SS t/c GMS1 tuned with a dp ran a 13.5 @ 106mph.
That guy talked so much **** about all these benjamins he threw into the motor and he aint got ****, lol.

One thing is, the cts i am pretty sure itll get the ss/tc with hust a gm stage one, another bro why you so mean to your girl, or the way you talk about her. For real man.
