lol finaly took it to the strip

well this past saturday i finaly took my car to the strip i bought my cobalt new in nov 05 well my mods are 2.8 ottp he aem meth kit 2.8 and 60s and tune

first pass down the 1/8th mile lol

rt .983
60 .249
mph 79.51
et 11.38
lmao i roasted the tires to within 50 ft of the first strip at the end of the track i dident expect that to happen and this was the worst pass of the day

my best pass was

rt .292
60 282
mph 82.27
et 9.21

the highest mph i had was 83 on a 10.28 pass over all i had a blast and i forgot how much street tires suck at the strip so now im gonna have to mount up my nitos and see just how fast i get it to go how much are stickes worth in et and mph

Dude a 2.8 60' needs a driver mod. Just practice launching and youll see the best gains from that.

Hate when that happens. Guy with a boosted toyota yaris blew a piston out of the block and i was next in line. Got my ass handed to me by a bone stock 2.2 balt. Lovely 2.7 60 foot
