The Chevrolet Cobalt is no better than the Honda Civic. Look at the Epica that Chevrolet made, what a failure that was. Aveo's are also trash. Considering that the Civic has been around since 1973 and the Cavalier; using it as a base since people claim we basically own Cavaliers, began production in 1982....
But yeah, the Civic is such a failure, right? I'm not even going to get into details. It offends me how people are so bias and bash other car companies because they are foreign. Guess what, we are foreign to other countries too and they hate our cars.
Also, the Civic is in production still. Where is our Cobalt, or the next generation of it? NOT in production anymore.
EDIT: If it wouldn't have been for the engineers at Honda for introducing the V-TEC (Variable Valve Timing) we wouldn't have it on the Cobalt or any other vehicle out there in the world. They were also the first company to produce 100 HP/L out of a naturally aspirated 1.6L engine. We need to be supercharged or turbocharged to get that. If the Japanese were to have let their technology be produced in our vehicles earlier, we would not have been able to even keep up with that Z24 Cavalier. Even then, the single overhead D series is on par with the 2.4L in a Honda hatchback.
1992 Honda Civic Si 0-60 mph 8.4 Quarter mile 16.2 (Honda 0-60 Times & Honda Quarter Mile Times | New Honda Accord EX, Civic Si 0-60, CR-V, Pilot, 2013 CRZ and Honda Vtec S2000 0 to 60 stats!)
1993 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 0-60 mph 8.2 Quarter mile 17.1 (Chevrolet 0-60 Times & Chevrolet Quarter Mile Times | Chevy Chevelle SS, Corvette ZO6 0-60, Cobalt, New Camaro 0-60, Blazer and Chevy Monte Carlo 0 to 60 stats!)
Lol, I said on par but it looks like it outperforms that piece of trash.

I saw an 11 second turbo hatch at the dragstrip, but it had black and white camo, looked like a cow. It was quick but not smart. I wonder if I wrap my car like that I might be fast too.
