New best time

I only have GMS2 with I/H/DP/E; a massive 3" at that. My cooling mods work exceptionally well.

I ran a 14.08 @ 102.25 MPH with a 2.28 60'

Could probably have had a 13 second pass with more practice and being able to run more too. At least I am finally getting the hang of the crappy street tires I have.

When I had my SS/SC, the secret to a good launch was rolling out of the clutch. Rev to about 2K and roll out of it. Don't slip it to long but don't dump it. My mods were similar to you and I was able to cut 2.0 60's and get 13.8's in the 1/4. I was able to do that on bald stock Perelli's

I had jr. footballs but the one was leaking as I put it in so I trashed that idea for the day. My tires are are off brand really hard, not grippy tires. I was getting better at the launch but I had to wait forever to run so I couldn't practice more.

Thanks, I find that the full exhaust didn't really help that much. I was trapping roughly the same speed with my stock system. Could the 3" harm it that much? Haha

Nice time. My friend ran a 14.3 @ 103 in his TC the same run I ran this time. He has only been driving stick for a month and this is also his first time to the track. He has GMS1, that's all.

That's what we were doing. I was trying to practice the method though. What I would do is bring it to 2K; like you said, then leave the pedal steady without pushing on it. I would then ride out the clutch while holding the throttle steady until it was near the top or released. Then I would put the pedal down quickly, not instantly.

I'm positive with more practice I can get better times.

We need someone to do a how-to with a video. If I had a go pro I would.

I had 0 wheel hop doing it that way. Bringing the RPM's to 3.5 caused wheel hop which is why I blew out the CAB's

Thank you all. My nearest track is nearly 2 hours away so finding time to practice is almost slim to none.
