New M&H Drag Radials and Slicks from Buschur Racing
Well, most of you will probably remember me, but I've been rather absent for some time now. I'm starting to lurk around a bit more now. Still got my cobalt, but I've been working on hard on my EVO over here in Germany. Figured I'd let the community over here know about a really good thing that Buschur has done for the tuner market in the Drag Racing world.
Here's the quote from the EVOM forums.
So there are 2 more options for everyone that drag races their cobalt now. Woot woot! Your welcome css.net!
Here's the quote from the EVOM forums.
Finally! FINALLY!! A company we can work with.
Everyone knows the drag radial market has come a long way. Cars running 6's on radial tires, insane!
For the EVO/Subaru/DSM/SRT-4's though the market has stunk. The tire sizes offered were not optimal and the tires weren't either.
I spoke with the owner of M&H a few months ago and asked it was possible for them to make a tire specifically for our market. A 245-45-17 tire. A nice fat, tall tire with a soft compound and SOFT sidewall. I explained to him the other companies offering DR's were using a sidewall that was too stiff and they were breaking parts like it was their job.
Tom, owner of M&H said he saw no problem in making the tires and asked if there was something else he could do. I was shocked!! I asked about a 17" slick and he has done that too! For now this is about the drag radials as they are now available through us and we are shipping them already to customers.
Pricing is $236 each plus shipping.

I have four of the new slicks coming in and I should have them in my hands next week. The 26x8.5x17" slick, MADE FOR CARS AND FOR CAR FITMENT/WHEELS, will also be available through us sometime in mid March, right in time for race season!

yea you def need to get back to us balts and post sum pics of that EVO, what made you choose to go with the 2.3? The 2.0 is typically good for 6-700 or more. I know a few guys riding on stock motors laying down 550+ whp.
I just recently bout the M&Hs that you suggested to me quite a while ago. Im hoping to get down to a 2.0 60' within a day or two of making passes. I need to find the correct operation temp so I know how long to burn them.

I did the 2.3 because I wanted the increased spool time on the turbo I was using. I decided to stick with the stock frame turbos as the EVO has the biggest market for them, one of the reasons I bought an EVO. I've done the bigger turbo and supercharger stuff I wanted to dip my toes in something a little different. It's pretty cool to say you are on the "stock turbo" when you are running consistent 10s full weight.
The EF4 I'm using has a 61mm inducer compressor wheel, which makes it the laggiest stock frame turbo out there. It's still journal bearing, but it's also the largest stock frame turbo.
And my evo look stock. Bone stock. Only thing that is aftermarket looking on the outside is the fact that my exhaust exits right out the front bumper in front of the passenger wheel and I don't have an exhaust that runs to the back of the car. But it's on stock wheels and everything.

A LOT!
Seriously thinking about pulling the HX40 and all the turbo components off to test out the TVS 1900 and a few other things. Just to do it. I'd love to start testing stuff out more since I think we need more testers in our platform to help it get more attention.

old timers, as in been around since the beginning. I'm in germany right now, and the car is in nebraska, but I'll definitely get some track times before I pull the setup off. That's a no-brainer.

Bump -Has anyone tried them yet? If the drag radials are real good may go with them they have the slicks also now.
