the gt-4 is a turbo charged celica that if built right is a very fast but ugly car, like the srt-4

And my 1993 Cavalier Z24 would be fast if built right too.

I think you are discounting the fact that the car has a stock turbo... it's amazing what more fuel, an intercooler and a manual boost controller will do for a turbo'd car.

Never underestimate the ease of making a turbo'd car go fast.

The GT4 Celica is also AWD if I'm not mistaken.

Still though money can make anything fast even if a turbo car takes less of it.

I belive the car in the posts is near stock and most likely runs 15's.

thats not entirely true, i mean unless you include engine swaps, some engines just dont have what it takes to make big power, the 2000-2005 celicas are a good example of engines that just cant make big power...

but the gt-4 is a celica that can make loads of power...500 is easily obtainable, on street tuner challenge i wonder why a professional race team couldnt make the ss have more than a 25 hp gain?

This was not a debate. It was an invitation to try and beat a Celica GT-4. Now somebody accept.
