SS Saw the Track Tonight
I dont know if there is a 1/4 mile thread or not.
went to the track tonight. 06 cobalt ss g85.
-Gmpp stage 2(3 inch pulley)
-Gmpp Manifold
-Gmpp Touring Cat Back
-XTC Downpipe with cat 2.5
-Poor Mans Cold air intake mod
-Most up to date GM Reflash(have HP tuners but need to get wideband hookd up) @
Stock Tires/30psi/***** footing the hell out of the hole(dont need to break the axle)
It was about 57degrees all night. kinda humid it rained this moring.
Car best the car went was 13.79@103.9 on a 2.29 60Ft
Also went 13.94@103.6 on a 2.32 60Ft
about 5 other runs MPH was all over 101 with anything from a killer 14.7(
) to a 14.1
Its all in the launch. I need to get some axles so i can be confident enough to really drive the car to its limit.
There was another cobalt there also and ya....he broke the axle.

I would drop the front tires to 25 psi , pump the rears up to 45 and give it all its got on radials . I dont think your gonna hook hard enuff to hurt a axle if its not wheel hopping . Either that , or Im just real lucky in the axle dept . Regardless , good mph and ET for the conservative driving .

seriously, nice work on the mid 13's.
and besides, i ran a 23 second 1/4 in my car last week. beat that!
yeah, shame to say, but stalled on green.
