Those in middle TN US 43 Drag Strip
March 8th test and tune will begin from 12pm until 5pm, if the weather is nice enough (meaning temps in the 50's or so) I will be going down there. I will have my 97 Camaro SS and my 06 Cobalt SS out there. Hope to see some other Cobalts out there!

not much of anything going on yesterday, hardly anyone there, probably all playing golf.
mixed emotions as one car impressed and the other depressed.
my Cobalt impressed!
I ran it twice and will be the only time I ever run it at the track again (I say that now anyways) since I daily drive it.
I'll upload pics of the timeslips to photo bucket as I still am having issues uploading photos to this website.

It was my first time launching a front wheel drive car and took me a run to figure it out. The runs were made on street tires so needless to say the second runs 60ft impressed me.
The Camaro disappointed me, I couldn't get any traction off the line, the best 60 ft I had was 2.7 on Nitto Drag Radials and I couldn't even get under 8.6 with it as the back end kept breaking loose when I hit 3rd. Anyways thought I would share, I'll get pics of the time slips uploaded later today when I get time.
