Times from last night. help/sugestions plz.

Not really happy with my times, i think my trap speed is there but maybe there's a few things i need to work on. here's my best pass...

R.T ... .100
60' ... 2.468
330 ... 6.682
1/8 ... 9.996
MPH ... 72.25
1000 ... 12.841
1/4 ... 15.201
MPH ... 98.06

Keep in mind this Arizona and it was 100+ degrees outside. I think i'll wait now for winter when it's alot cooler out.

my mods are Injen cai. and megan exhaust.

mods? the trap speed is OK considering the weather. your 60 foot is terrible. how are you launching? I assume you are launching too hard and spinning a lot. You want to put as much power down without spinning as possible. A little spin is ok, but a lot will just make you slower. remember going WOT right away doesn't make you accelerate faster. use the clutch to keep control of the tires while rolling into the gas. dont just mash the gas and dump the clutch.

60' ... 2.468. Cut that down to around 2.00 and you will increase you eta. Also your probably losing .5 due to how friggen hot it is here.

By the way I installed my rotors yesterday. Thanks for the good deal again!

I personally launch at 2500 and feather the throttle until around 5000. Then I can mash it right before I shift to second.

well i was going to say that you weren't really doing anything wrong. cause looking at the slips. theres not really any mistakes. theres some things that could be better. but nothings really "wrong" its just hot. but then you just said you didn't adjust your tire pressure. you don't want to lower it down too much, but if you don't adjust it at all you'll start to hop, and then spin. i've got a video on my facebook of me racing an '02 prelude. and i only beat him by 2 cars because i didn't lower it down and spun aaaall of first. and aaaall of second.

depends on the tire. you don't want to go too low. because if its a thicker, not taller, sidewall. then you could risk blowing it out. also if you go too low the tire will sort of buckle, and you'll only be riding on the outside of the tire and not all the way across.
