It's a method of rev-matching while also using the break. It's used mainly on an autoX course around hard corners when you need to change gears.

 

yeah and a 3 INCH PULLY. Dont forget about that.

 

Congratulations......keep up the good work. Not every day you see a cobalt in the 13's. The cobalt drivers that race around here i am actually am very ashamed of as have never seen one run better than 15's....come down here and show em' how it's done....lol good work man!

Man, I wish the Chevrolet had an "ACR" type package for the SS cobalt. I would love some 16's from the factory to slap some DR's on.

Tofu, did you pull that 13.85 with out an LSD? I noticed in another post you wanted to by a Quaiffe so I assume you don't have one now.

Thanks, yes my car does not have the g85 package. It'll spin both wheels when in a straight line however!

 

Yup, that's one thing that Chevy did well on this car....equall length shafts.

All the LSD will really help with is pulling through corners. I hate it when my inside tire lights ablaze during hard cornering.
