went to track 1/4 gods chime in part 2

So I went to track last night and had 11 passes
Best rt was .003 and .009 lol I know luck

Mods are 3" hahn exhaust catback only and superchips tune nothing else

My best 60 was 2.486 and 2.499. I was running 2.5 2.6 all night
I was also trapping high 102 to mid 103 all night

Help me out what's wrong. I shift good lol
This is my best time and it was with launch control first time I use it also
Rt .600
60l 2.542
1/8 9.613. Was running 9.7 all night
1/4 14.380. Was running 14.4 14.5 all night

its all in the 60 foot. try different ways of launching and different tire pressures

I also ran a stock solstice gxp automatic you can see a huge difference in my trap

My 60 was 2.565 his 2.094

My 1/8 9.705. His 9.180

My 1/4 14.474. His 14.304
Trap 103.29. His. 96.40

I had my tires front set 26 back 35

your 60' times are horrendous. work on launching the car briskly, but without too much spin. 13s would be EASY with even an ok launch (2.1-2.2).

it is sometimes 60' times, but it's also 330' times. You can get a decent (say 2.0) 60', and slam 2nd gear, spin the tires a bit, and get a crappy quarter mile time. Alot of people do that and get really puzzled as to what happened. "I got a good 60', wtf happened?" Well junior, you slammed 2nd so hard that you pretty much threw your launch out the window.

You need to turn all the comp. mode, and launch control stuff off and race the car that way.

I feel like you should be trapping much higher with even a branded tune. I've seen a stock TC trap 105.

Air quality has huge influence on this number. As does elevation, but it appears this guy is from Miami, so that is not the issue!

i have a friend who has a srt-4neon and he said when he launches off the whole he doesnt give it enough throttle in 1st to wheel spin and in 2nd he does same thing untill half of 2nd gear then he totally pushes throttle to the floor and he gets 13.6 13.7

do any of u guys to that in order to have such good times?

youve got to ride the clutch... you can give it gas but make sure you regulate it with clutch

on street tires yes. but a lot of us use some pretty sticky tires.
