WORST track times......

ever!!! lol ok i posted this on the redline forums but figure ill share it here as well. after searching both redline and cobalt forums under drag racing for roughly 1 hour i think i have decided i have THE worst first time track numbers EVER posted.. lol normally this is not something to be proud of, and orig i wasnt, but now i feel kinda special. im sure my times will get better but here we go.. if u dont believe what i type ask the people who went to english town in NJ on oct 13th LOL.. cause i need me some practice practice practice
reinactment of my track runs. (me = spam) (track = smiley)

ill type in my 3 passes. scanner currently down.. keep in mind lil more then 3/4 tank of gas, still had 35psi in tires from a long highway trip, and my 3 10" sub woofers in trunk.

Pass 1 had bad wheel hop, pass 2 was wheel hop and lil cluth slip on 1-2shift and major clutch slippage on shift 2-3, pass 3 took it easy (was nervous as hell the entire time lol so that didnt help but def was fun,, glad stands were kinda empty lol) other than that i just sucked

Time:: First pass @ 7:36pm ,, Third pass at 9:39pm
Track conditons:: 46 degrees F ,, Relative Humidity 0 ,, Absolute Barometer 29.77

`````````````````` Pass 1 ```````````` Pass 2 ```````````` Pass 3
R/T ````````````` .843 `````````````````` .878 `````````````` .712
60' ````````````` 2.959 ````````````````` 2.710 `````````````` 2.747
330 ```````````` 7.758 ````````````````` 7.654 `````````````` 7.313
1/8 ```````````` 11.295 ``````````````` 12.310 ````````````` 10.812
MPH ```````````` 69.90 ````````````````` 58.25 ````````````` 69.94
1000 ``````````` 14.277 ``````````````` 15.839 ```````````` 13.787
1/4 `````````````16.857 ``````````````` 18.629 ```````````` 16.245
MPH ```````````` 87.49 ```````````````` 80.89 ````````````` 91.35
feel free to comment away, lol probably wont run again for rest of this season but come march def wanna go another time or 2 before i start modding 1/4 mile Driver Mod version 20.06 highly needed.
IF U KNOW ANYONE WITH WORST TRACK TIMES LET ME KNOW
Yea that is not a good time. But look at the bright side, you can only improve from now on.
Yeah our clutches are bad, especially at the track. Your clutch slipped your second pass man. But you let your car cool down a little bit for the third run and the clutch was fine again. Your 2nd pass was about to be your best run but that stupid clutch.
well I dont know about the redline ...but the tach on the cobalt is way behind your actuall rpm .... it takes some getting used to ...to get that feel for the shift points
and it cant help make things easier by having it in the middle either ...
keep working on it ...
not sure on that either, i have the comp package (thinking now how does a LSD effect u on strip) and i shift when my ladder tach says i hit around 5900 rpm, figure give me 600 rpm reaction time to actually engage shifting. so after i shifted and throttled it noticed i was not moving in a posative manor, in panic released throttle rpms hung at 5k, pushed down on cluth let rpms settle out, got my revs back so i i could pop it back into third and release cluth to engage 3rd, noticed i had acceleration and punched it till crossed the line. based on finished time figure all that happened with in a 2-3 sec time period.
