another lsj axle post

so i broke an inner cv joint today, managed to limp the car home. stupid thing is i wasnt doing anything stupid. long story short, i need to replace the axle asap as the car is my daily driver. that being said, im unable to wait 2 weeks for zzp or ott axles, or ordering from anywhere else, meaning parts store axles it is.

now i keep hearing about how good the napa axles are. now being a transmission and driveline tech this confuses me, cause in the industry napa axles are usually the bottom of the barrel right next to fenco. im leary about putting napa axles in because i have had problems in the past. does anyone know anything about cardone or mevotech axles? those are both readily available, i have one other supplier i can check, unsure of what brands they might have.

its funny cause ive been procrastinating over ordering ott stage 1 axles. i do want something better but now im stuck getting what i can, and those options are mevotech cardone or napa.

well for anyone who cares i got a cardone axle today as napa had no stock in any local store or warehouse. the cardone looks idential to the napa axle, and the info on napas site and cardones site is identical to the letter. im wondering if napa is now rebadging cardone axles as their own.
