Any guesses what this noise is (08 SS)
Noise started a few hundred miles ago & keeps getting worse, tracks with MPH, in/out of gear doesn't matter, turning doesn't change tone. Can hear it clearly inside, can't hear it out the window, seems to be centered on driver side/middle. It's pretty damn loud now...so much for selling the car when it was in good condition.

That's the in neutral noise I hear ~32-33MPH (recorded inside car, windows up), when I tried to see what frequency it was making noise at it looks like maybe 44hz is primary with reflections at 88 & 166hz (does the output gear have like 35ish teeth?).
Put it on stands today & ran it in first and listed with stethoscope at the wheel centers left/right (heard nothing) and then on trans case (heard lots of **** that I can't say sounded great. but have no reference to know good vs bad).
Anyone had something similar and figured out what it was?

Well, looks like the hub bearing.
Cannot un-seize the axle from the hub, ended up damaging the axle while trying to use a puller woo. Cut into the hub where the bearing is (trying to saw through the whole thing...bad idea as bearing cage is too hard to cut) and all the bearings are super rusted so definitely bad. **** day of increasingly bad decisions.
Now to try taking off the knuckle completely & taking it to a shop to press out, or just cut-off wheeling the inside part of the axle....decisions
