Any how to for replacing shift cables.

I had frozen cables last winter, but they would warm back up after 10 minutes. This winter is seems they stay frozen much longer and now I think one of the cable is stretched.

Is there a how to for replacing them? Would it be possible to do without removing the fuse box under the hood?

Just to answer my own question. My mechanic managed to swap them out without removing the fuse box.

FYI:

1) disconnect from inside the car
2) drop head pipe
3) remove heat shielding
4) disconnect from transmission
5) remove cable(s) from car
6) install is reverse.

You probably have this sorted out but here you go. I was frustrated from the lack of info on here so I made this.

I just did this 6 hours ago
Remove the trim inside car to expose the clips
I clip them
Jack up car
Remove driver side wheel to aid you
Remove or bend the heat shield where the cables come from the cab. I bent mines and bent it back into shape
Remove the 10mm but holding it down to the chassis. It may snap. Very frail. Mines did and I left it dangling. Yolo
Go to trans area. Pop the white clip that go onto the trans shift levers.
Go to the trans bracket. From the back of the cables push or pull away from the bracket. It's a spring loaded thing that secures the cable to the bracket. Black first then the white cable.
Yank it from under the car. Reverse install. Adjust shifter and done
