Ok. I've heard quite a bit of bad things about spec and a lot of good about exedy. But im on a budget here. Besides the clutch I have to replace the slave cylinder and throwout bearing which i do not think these kits come with these.

Alright. Well the slave/tob i found for $132. But i think that was just the throw out bearing. Any good sites for that? PLus for any clutch kit i wont have the money for like a few days. Its sad that I need help from my mom. quite embarassing.

ill put another vote for exedy. ive driven 3 different cars with spec clutches (b18 civic, 2000 2.4l cavalier and 90 sunbird with ecotec/f23 swap, all stage 3+) and i didnt like any of them. the biggest issue i have had is they seem to have a floating release height, the clutch never grabs in the same place.

Okay. Well whats good about exedy? im just asking so I know a little more before I buy. The only reson why I would be getting a spec clutch because of price. I only have so much to work with

I bought a Spec Stage 2+ off TTR and it's been solid for around ~37k miles so far on my SS/SC. Honestly there's no need to bash Spec because they were shitty in the past, if you have never used the newer models.
