Can i swap a clutch pipe from one trans to another?

Hey guys, just installed GMPP clutch kit 80 miles ago, shop that did it didnt catch a crack in the t case for whatever reason that doesnt matter.

I have a 60k mile trans going in and realized i didnt get a new clutch pipe and cant get one for a few days, I need the car this weekend! So can i reuse the 60k mile one? Or can I take the one that literally has 80 miles on it out and move to new trans?

I know its a $12, part but would have to stay in a rental cars 3-4 extra days if i needed it.

do it once, and do it right. cheap insurance.

You might get lucky and get away with it, but why risk it?

Lost the use of the car I had so it's gunna cost me over $150 to rent a car for the next 4 days assuming I order one and it gets in tues/wed.

I just want to know if it's at all safe to not replace it or can I swap the one that only has less than 50 or miles from my cracked trans?

I mean I wouldn't make it permanent but you could try it.

Yes you can but what's cheaper: to pay for the rental car an extra few days or to pay the labor again to drop the trans to replace it if it starts leaking?

The pipe itself is metal, and it won't matter to swap it over. If the seal is still in perfect shape it should be fine. Just swap over the new TOB/pipe you had in the other trans to the new unit, don't try to re-use the 60k mile parts.
