Clutch goes soft after bleeding.
 

So the dealer has had my car for 3 weeks doing a motor swap. They have it all together and are trying to bleed the clutch, they are telling me it is fine for a bit and a while later the engagement gets lower to the floor.

What could cause this, possibly not be bled right, worn clutch(which i know it is really worn), or some other broken part like a slave or something?

So after a little digging I've noticed we have the slave on our TOB, so if the Master is not the cause out comes the trans again for a new TOB..... I'm tempted to go take the car from the dealer, and have ZZP fix it the right way with a stage 2 and upgraded TOB for cheaper than this shit hole dealer.

im in the same predicament. if they are trying to bleed the clutch by pumping teh pedal and loosing the bleeder screw it's not going to work. you have to vacuum bleed it off that bleeder screw and have someone pour brake fluid in your res. make sure you have something behind the clutch pedal to stop it from compressing when you start bleeding it. also make sure that it is not leaking from the top of the slave cylinder where the tube coming from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder connect in a fitting. under that fitting there is a rubber cap and that was my problem. mine had a little tear in it and air would go back inside it. i have a part number if they have to order you a new one. my dealer had to order 3 different parts to get the right one because it comes as a kit and not sold individual. hope this helps

It does help, but I'm calling my insurance company to see what my options are to have it sent to ZZP instead. This dealer is full of BS. we are at 3 weeks to do just a simple motor swap! I think with the car hitting water after 2 hours of stop and go traffic may have hurt the clutch, since it got really soft when it hit the water....

Give me that part number just in case though please.

yah ive had the same problem with my car too, there's a technique, I cant quite remember it but it has to do with someone pushing the pedal and the guy under the hood pushing the master cylinder line in back and forth. I remember is saw the procedure on Mitchell. my clutch goes soft everyonce in a while but it rarely does. seems to be working okay though

I'm getting my car back from ZZP in the AM, they installed a Stage 2 clutch, fidanza flywheel, upgraded TOB, and I got Ryan's personal B&M short throw from his 10 sec balt! All covered by my insurance!

man i wish my insurance was that awesome

And the best part is they weren't going to cover the flywheel but ZZP helped a guy out!

Hell yeah, Tim found me a cracked flywheel instead of using the new OE one that got super hot while I had the car. Since the car was done in 6 hours after dropping it off lmao.
