Clutch linkage Problem
So yesterday i started driving to work and I felt the clutch pedal feel kinda of funny. I had to step on it almost all the way down in order for the clutch to engage. I was like WTF so i check it out after i parked at work. My floor mat was stuck underneath the pedal so i was like ok that why it was feeling weird so i didnt think anything about it again. So when i got off of work i started leaving the parking garage and my clutch was still feeling the same. So I went down to the gas station to put gas there was a straight away so i stepped on it alittle when shifting into second the clutch started fucking up i couldnt put it into second without stepping on the clutch pedal really hard. I stop at the gas station i was like Really WTF I hope it isn't my clutch but I know it isnt the clutch going out cause it grabs when it goes into gear. I think its something with the pedal cause i remember how my clutch felt before when i had to change it. So when i was driving home i had to stomp on my clutch pedal so first would go in. When i got home i look down and kinda check behind the pedal and just pressed it down with my hand and check behind it. I didnt see anything really wrong but i dont really know what its suppost to look like back there. I went around the block and it started to engage better but it still doesnt feel like it did before. I think it has to do something with the pedal linkage. How do i fix this does anyone have any idea or info on this. Has someone had the same problem before or fix something like that before?
Please can anyone help me with this please? |

Sounds like the master cyl or slave is going out. When you did the clutch did you put in a new upgraded slave as'sy?

It's the term they use for the hydraulic throwout bearing. Slave cylinder.
Master cyl is the one the pedal pushes on to produce the pressure needed to separate the clutch. This pressure expands the slave. |

i had this same issue but it only comes around if i beat on the clutch so i just try to be as smooth as possible. i'm pretty sure my issue is the throw-out bearing so i've just been living with it.
one thing to check is your brake fluid level. if your slave is bad/leaking, it should be low. that could be your problem. hth |
ok coo thanks everyone for your info. I know when i had the clutch replace the put new throw out bearing. Im also glad you liked my quote i thought it was funny also lol. I'm going to go check the brake fluid levels now. I hope i dont have to replace the clutch. Im in the middle of buying a house so cash is alittle tight right now.
