CSS No SC 06 Cruise control problem???

Hi ! I have an Cobalt SS 06, 91k, this morning seems like my cruise control couldn't work! I am wondering if its just my cruise control SET button that doesn't work anymore but i am just wondering first if anyone had that kind of problem happening on his car? Is it a car glitch? Is it the buttons? Is it under the hood? Can't live without my cruise! :cussing::cussing::cussing:

You've got to love Cobalt!

I haven't gotten mine to work for the love of me.

The button to turn it on works, but I have to spam "set" to even get "cruise set" on the DIC to show, even then it only pops up for less than a second and it's definitely not on.

Not sure whats going on.

unplug ur battery for 15 minutes or so and let the computer reset itself...then see if it works..if not ur clutch position sensor is messed up...

or if u have a LED 3rd brake light it will give u some trouble

dont drive with ur foot resting on the clutch

I don't drive with my foot resting on the clutch nor do I have LEDs for the 3rd brake light.

Where is this sensor you're talking about?

Turn to key to "ON" position.
Press down throttle 3 times.

No problem.
Other than that, you could've done it through the DIC, but doing it the way I first said is just faster and easier.
