dp or exhaust issue..help plz
 

Hey i have a 07 cobalt ss/sc with 44,000km on it. Every once in a while, esp. when i put up to a drive through place and im next to a wall, i can hear a ratteling noise under my car, sounds like its at the point where the exhaust meets with the stock dp. My friend suggested its a broken downpipe. Just wanted some other opinions on it. Not much other info i can give u guys except it sounds like something rattles and i put it in N and got my friend to lightly touch the gas and u could hear it more. Any ideas?

could be a minor exhaust leak that just requires tightening of some bolts or a cracked flex pipe. you wont know until you look at it

yea i plan on jacking the car up in a few mins to check it. Just want to see if anyone has any ideas....wondering what, if anything, would be covered under warrenty

if your exhaust is stock of course it is covered

jacked the car up...couldnt hear any problems...weird. But now i got a new problem, $460 Viper alarm is screwed...lol. Heading back to the store to get them to fix the programming. Not having luck with this POS car
