F35 Rebuild labor time
Anyone know how long book time is to rebuild the f35 w g85 .I yanked out my trans to have it rebuilt and I got quoted 6.5hrs to rebuild the trans, well that seems high considering the trans is already out of the car. I have searched and cant find GM labor estimator w/o having to pay. TIA.

The f35 is a bitch and requires special tools to do it properly. So 6.5h seems reasonable, but I've never rebuilt one or hear how long it takes.

KOLT might be able to help you on the GM labor. But I think most of the time GM just replaced them versus rebuilding.

I was quoted $1,800 to rebuild my open diff non g85, parts & labor for removal & re-install. Another shop quoted $1,200 just to fix the 2nd gear grind (which is all that's wrong with the tranny). I'm not moving forward with any of the 2 places but just throwing it out there for comparison numbers.

It has the ZZP Stage 1 kit (Catted DP), Mishimoto IC & Charge Pipes, ZZP bigger TB, PTP turbo blanket and custom cold air induction. I did send in data logs from track runs to ZZP and they adjusted the tune accordingly which made a HUGE difference.

looks great! I have a 2016 2.0T moonstone metallic with morello red interior. So far i have ZZP intake, corsa catback, tint, and front lip. Ill be doing downpipe and tune soon. I have eibach springs that need installed. Also waiting for the V spoiler to be delivered.
Hopefully your V Spoiler fits nice and snug |

Nice - I’ve always liked that morello red interior, very nice contrast. I did add the EZ lip to front and looks fairly descent. I also added the the 18” coupe wheels which gave it a wider stance.

I'd love to find four of the 18x9 wheels. I might try and buy two and two.I have the same style as your but 18x8. I love these factory style ones. I plan on getting them powder coated but I am torn on what color to do with the moonstoon metallic paint.
https://www.detroitwheelandtire.com The rears are 18x9 (Hollander 4734) and fronts are 18x8 (Hollander 4731). I think you can buy them individually. I'm not sure if the rears would clear the front fenders. These are clearing just enough to not rub. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cob...25289cbd06.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cob...5223b694d0.jpg |
