Although I believe it is a lifetime fill by GM standards. Nothing about it in the owner's manual.

I put 3800 Miles on since July of 2009. Hard Miles. Broke the trans at 2200 and when the dealer fixed it they had no trans oil in stock. Took a few days to get it in.

I would go by miles.. I was the second owner of my car, and I bought it with like 57,000 miles on it.. The fluid was never changed, and I got to it around 64,000 miles.. It wasn't horribly burnt, but it definitely needed a change, and I could absolutely tell the difference.

Whether it was the LNF fluid, or the fact that it was just new fluid in general, I'll never know, but it feels way better.

There was also a fair amount of shavings on the plug. This is normal.

My dealerahip has both fluids stocked. Lsj mu3 and lnf mu3. They have 8 of each. Just letting u know cost is 13-17 depending on fluid.

You'll want to ask someone else about the F23 trans.. AFAIK, it uses Dexron ATF.

F23s use Dexron ATF or similar. I recommend Mobil1 ATF or Redline D6 for F23s.

im probably going to go with amsoil synchromesh. but i have lots of experience with it in the past. i like my tranny butter smooth, and thats what it does without causing problems. fixed essentially every issue my last cars tranny had (06 civic si)

Red Line MT-85 is a viscosity match for our GM LNF fluid. (GL-4 Castrol SynTrans)
