getrag f23 to f35 transmission swap
Can the Getrag F35 transmission be used in place of the Getrag F23 transmission? Engine is L61 2.2 Litre Ecotec? If there is a thread with pics please direct me to it. The reason I'l like to swap out my Getrag F23 for a Getrag F35 is that Morad Parts Company has used F35 Transmissions with the LSD option a lot cheaper than having to buy and install the Quaife LSD for the Getrag F23.

not true.. F35 can be used.. but you need to buy a fly wheel from a L200 saturn..
it hasn't been done but technically it should work..
the L200 comes with the F35 and it has a 2.2 ecotec.
so yeaa.. put 2 and 2 together.. it's possible.. but it needs to be done..
hell someone on redline forums mated an F35 to a 2.4 bottom end.. he had a custom flywheel / clutch made because he wanted the lager clamping force.. but really you cand do it all with stock parts..

Hey olvrqert,
I was going through the same thing that you were debating on. If you want more information I'll post a link to my thread that discussed it as well.
